Maison Adam (a merger between Mr Adam and Shapes) is a shoe store for women and men, located on Avenue Louise in Brussels. Our enthusiastic sales team is at your disposal to advise you and answer your questions. A maintenance and "small repairs" service is also available in store.
We sell timeless models, such as oxfords, brogues, derbies, loafers, boots, Chelsea boots, sneakers, espadrilles, monk strap shoes, sandals, ballerinas, heels, and wedding shoes. We also cater to Brussels' vibrant Sapologie community with shoes built for dandy elegance. We work directly with manufacturers located in Spain, France, Italy and Portugal, without intermediaries, using traditional construction methods like Goodyear welt and Blake stitching (read more about our artisanal craftsmanship), which enables us to offer high quality models at competitive prices. We also sell shoe care products and accessories such as belts, ties, bow ties and suspenders.

Maison Adam is a family owned and independently-run store. Steven, the manager, is the fourth generation in his family to be active in the shoe business. He is also a self-taught designer and most of the shoes sold in the store are his designs.

Maison Adam (the result of a fusion between the renowned Brussels boutiques Shapes and Mr Adam) is a family-owned boutique led by manager Steven Sonabend, a fourth-generation shoemaker. We design most of our shoes in-house and source them directly from European artisan workshops, bypassing wholesalers to offer premium Goodyear-welted and Blake-stitched shoes at competitive direct-to-consumer prices. We combine this direct artisan value with expert instep fitting and long-term care and minor repairs provided directly in our Avenue Louise boutique to ensure your shoes last a lifetime.
